Peter Schiro State Farm is seeking a motivated and professional team member who enjoys helping people, building relationships, and providing outstanding customer service.
This role combines insurance sales, customer support, and relationship management. We are looking for someone who is dependable, coachable, organized, and confident communicating with customers about protecting their families, homes, vehicles, and assets.
This is an in-office position located in the Sacramento/Rocklin area. Both locations are available. We are looking for someone who wants to grow professionally, contribute to a positive team culture, and build a long-term career in the insurance industry.
Duties
- Assist customers with auto, home, life, and business insurance needs
- Build relationships with new and existing customers
- Conduct coverage reviews and identify protection gaps
- Follow up on leads, referrals, and customer opportunities
- Help customers with policy changes, billing questions, and claims support
- Maintain organized follow-up and accurate documentation
- Communicate professionally by phone, text, email, and in person
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent customer service
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused office environment
- Support office growth through relationship-building and customer retention
Qualifications
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses
- Insurance, sales, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Professional phone and customer interaction skills
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working in an in-office, team-focused environment
- Ability to multitask and manage follow-up effectively
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required
